Africa is known for its breathtaking plains and jungles that people visit on safari to see some of the most majestic animals on earth. But, the African continent is home to some of the most beautiful beaches in the world as well. Diani Beach in Kenya is one such beach. Kenya is situated on the eastern seaboard of Africa and Diani Beach is located in the southeastern corner of Kenya, close to the border of Tanzania.
Diani is a large beach resort on the Indian Ocean and is home to many smaller beaches within it. The beach stretches for 16 kilometers and ends at the small town of Ukunda. The beauty of this stretch of beach has called visitors to it and has consequently resulted in a growth spurt of hotels and restaurants along the beach. Right off the beach in the water is a shallow sand bar, which allows visitors to frolic or relax in the shallows of the water. There are also colorful coral reefs in the area and this draws visitors to the beach as well. Spend some time on Diani Beach and you’ll think of Africa as a tropical beach location
